(PRWEB) October 1, 2005

Brandon Medical are pleased to announce the release of a new range of video camera systems for the operating theatre. Utilising SONY Professional technology, these cameras can offer market-leading performance and clarity without the lofty price tag normally associated with medical camera systems.

The cameras are suitable for all kinds of surgery, with a 18x optical zoom accommodating for small & intricate procedures. All units come with a new remote control unit for easy operation and control.

The cameras can be mounted on either their own individual ceiling arm or inside a Galaxy Ultra lamp head. When given their own arm, the cameras are easy to maneuver and position offering 360º head rotation for complete freedom in the operating theatre. This is achieved by running all connectors directly up through the arm.

Including the camera into the lamp head brings different benefits. The camera will always be pointed at the area where the light beam is most focused, removing the need to position the camera separately. It is popular to use this option in conjunction with a flat-screen monitor which can be mounted to the same ceiling fixing as the lamp head. This creates a single integrated lighting / recording / display unit.

Graeme Hall, Brandon Medical’s Managing Director, recently told us that “cameras are becoming central to modern surgical practices but until now have often been prohibitively expensive for some of the smaller hospitals. With the design of this new camera system we have made camera systems available to everyone”.

Van Nuys, Calif. (PRWEB) June 16, 2008

Digital Playground has started filming with RED digital cameras, a new camera more brilliant than 35 mm film, with 4 times the resolution of the best HD cameras, and the best cinematic look available. Digital Playground was recently in the news for its commitment to simultaneous release new movies on DVD and Blu-ray™ and to re-release its entire library on Blu-ray. Now Digital Playground is allowing a new color to make headlines–the color RED. In the past two months, Digital Playground has already used the RED One cameras to shoot 10 movies. The addition of RED digital cameras allows Digital Playground to match the quality productions of mainstream entertainment studios, while remaining the world-wide leader in adult entertainment.

Joone, the Founder of Digital Playground and the award-winning director of the “Virtual Sex™” series, the “Island Fever” series, “Pirates”, and the upcoming “Pirates II: Stagnetti’s Revenge”, is devoted to incorporating the best technology available in his movies. He says, “As a filmmaker, I continually search out new ways to bring my visions to life and ensure their timelessness. Digital Playground is devoted to maintaining and updating our library to highest quality.”

Joone continues, “RED cameras are the best available equipment on the market. The resulting images are like a grain-less 35 mm film or a 65 mm film. Fans will actually lose themselves in the clarity of our new movies. With endorsements by the American Society of Cinematographers and directors like Steven Soderbergh making the switch to RED, the RED One is making believers out of cinematic traditionalists and film loyalists.”

The Founder of RED is Jim Jannard, the billionaire Founder of Oakley sunglasses and sports apparel. His development of the RED camera technology derived from a passion for creating the most advanced technology possible. Digital Playground was built on a similar passion and enthusiasm for technological innovation. Digital Playground began filming and distributing in the high definition format over four years ago. Pioneers in adult content, Digital Playground continues to pave the way, producing the best films possible, while utilizing the most advanced technologies available.

RED digital cameras pick up where HD cameras leave off and are completely compatible with modern viewing formats. The RED One camera uses a sensor measured at 4520 x 2540 pixels, which is more than 4 times the pixels of the very best HD cameras. The increase in pixels and dynamic range results in the clearest possible picture available.

Digital Playground’s award winning director, Robby D. raves about the RED One camera. Robby exclaims, “On set, we love the camera so much that we named it Baby. The RED One holds up where other cameras can’t. Porno on 35 mm with 4k resolution is an amazing thing!”

Being on the forefront of technology is nothing new for Digital Playground. The company was created around the concept of innovation. In 1995, Joone developed the cutting edge CD-ROM title “Virtual Sex Shoot”, and the company was forever on the map. Then in 1997 Digital Playground launched the famous “Virtual Sex™” line of interactive DVDs. In 2004, the company released “Island Fever 3″, the first adult title to be filmed, edited, and delivered in high definition format. In 2005, Digital Playground released the first adult iPod trailers, followed by the first adult movies for purchase on the iPhone in 2007. Most recently, Digital Playground committed itself to the simultaneous release of all new movies on DVD and Blu-ray. Digital Playground is not one step ahead, it’s miles.

About RED:

The idea behind the RED camera system is simple. Design and build a high performance digital cine camera with the quality of 35mm film and convenience of pure digital. RED delivers unmatched image quality with no recording system limitations. RED digital cameras were used to shoot the 2008 blockbuster, “Jumper”, the upcoming Steven Soderbergh films “The Argentine” and “Guerrilla”, and the Peter Jackson short film, “Crossing the Line”. For more information, visit www.red.com

About Digital Playground:

Digital Playground is the world leader in adult filmmaking and interactive formats boasting the largest HD library available. Since the Company’s inception in 1993, Digital Playground has earned over 200 awards, currently garners more than 80% of high definition sales within the adult market, and is a leading provider of Blu-ray™ titles. Female owned and operated, Digital Playground emphasizes quality first, employing fastidiously high production values in erotic film for women, men and couples.
NEWTONVILLE, MA (PRWEB) February 24, 2005

Coinciding with this year’s Photo Marketing Association (PMA) show in Orlando, FL, Lyra Research’s Digital Photography Advisory Service has issued its worldwide digital camera forecast. Digital still camera shipments surpassed 63 million units worldwide in 2004, up more than 35 percent compared with 2003. Worldwide digital still camera shipments will surpass 100 million units in 2008.

In 2004, for the first time ever, Europe became the largest market in terms of unit shipments, taking the top spot from the United States, which is now second in terms of shipments. Japan is the third-largest market.

The 3-megapixel category remained the most popular digital camera segment in 2004, but shipments are increasing in the 4-, 5-, and 6-megapixel segments. Most point-and-shoot cameras now shipping are 4- and 5-megapixel models, and Lyra expects that, by 2005, 5+-megapixel cameras will account for more worldwide shipments than any other segment.

“The desire to produce prints from digital cameras is now a key factor in the consumer purchase decision. Many new camera buyers do not go to the store looking just for a digital camera—they are looking for a total photographic solution,” says Robert Palmer, director of Lyra’s Digital Photography Advisory Service. Camera and printer bundles proved very popular last year, and Lyra expects these solutions to gain further momentum in 2005. “Explosive growth in digital camera sales will fuel the market for photographic prints,” says Palmer. “More than 18 billion prints were produced from digital camera images in 2004, two-thirds of which were produced in the home.”

Lyra Research’s Digital Photography Advisory Service (DPS) is an online competitive research tool for marketing and product managers in the digital camera, photo-quality printer, and online photo-service industries. The DPS provides the advice and insight necessary to tap into the possibilities of today’s digital imaging market.

Camera Problems?
I broke my Camera. It fell on the ground and I really need it. SHould I convey it in somewhere? if I should how much is it going to cost? It an Olympus and the front say FE-170

Camera purchase?
we are currently looking to purchase a new camera. I really similar to the SLR cameras but we are open to any sympathetic… long battery energy, picture quality and versatility are considerable features… we would also like the camera to own video capability but to be precise not high on our enumerate of features. We own a landscaping business so involve clear crisp photos…

Camera Question for student Photographer ..?
I asked this in Photography but single one person answered (thanks fhotoace!) So my best friend is really into photography. She is turning 18 and we will be graduate in June. For her birthday I planned on getting her a camera (the show ones, not digital) but I have NO IDEA where on earth to start. I wanted to procure her a good lens, camera and tripod (plus show obv.) but am not looking to spend more than $300.00. Unless her mom plans on helping me out. I was looking at the Nikon Body next to 35-70mm f3.5-4.8 Zoom Nikkor lens. (I have no opinion what any of that means) LOL It was this one: http://images.search.yahoo.com/images/vi… Any suggestions? She is also going to conservatory for photography so I don’t want to spend much and stuff just incase they hold certain requirements for the cameras. Also, is this a well-mannered tripod? http://www.adorama.com/BATPDX.html

Camera Question?
I’m an amateur photographer and I am looking for a camera that does the following: 1) Takes good zoom photos (Like pictures of flowers, etc, beside crisp detail.) 2) Has good battery-operated life 3) Is pretty portable 4) Takes well-mannered quality shots contained by both daytime and nighttime. So far I narrowed it down to: 1) Panasonic Lumix TZ3S 2) Canon Powershot SX100IS 3) Sony Cybershot H10 I’m leaning towards the Canon one because it’s the cheapest and I hear good things almost it. My question is, am I looking for the right things? I clutch a lot of pictures of the insides of flowers (petals, etc) so I inevitability them to come out crisp and nice.

These days, the digital camera has become the more popular choice for those seeking to make a brand new camera purchase. Lower prices over the past few years have enabled camera buffs of all ages and abilities to indulge in purchasing a digital camera. Without the need to constantly purchases a stock of film and then pay again for the developing, digital cameras have led to people being able to practice their art of photography to their hearts content without in becoming a financial burden. If you are on a budget, simply seek the lowest price. Digital camera technology enables the absolute beginner to snap a perfect shot following little instruction.

The variety available when seeking a new camera is rapidly increasing. Whether you search for the brand Canon, Nikon, Olympus, Casio, Kodak, Sony, Fuji or Panasonic, all these digital cameras can be obtained in both store sales and online for the lowest price. Digital camera purchasing may now offer a few too many choices rather than too few.

Sometimes the style of camera model may be the clincher when selecting a digital camera, even when searching only for a camera of the lowest price. Digital camera shape, color, size, or function can all play a part in the purchase decision, but sometimes the look alone can make the final decision. Perhaps you are looking for a sleek black compact model, or maybe a silver feature-filled style of camera fits your purpose better. You may alternatively prefer a red or green modern design.

Some of the features you may be concerned with include the zoom and megapixel counts. Zoom comes in both optical and digital zoon, and frequently a combination of the two is offered. The megapixel count may be of importance to you, the better models of digital camera having the higher rating if you have a choice between models of the lowest price. Digital camera features also include various sizes of on-screen display. If you want to ensure the optimum photograph before taking it, a larger display screen will offer extra detail.

Some purchasers of the lowest price digital camera may make their choice based on the battery. There are two main styles of battery, the easily inserted and often rechargeable AA size regular camera battery and the smaller watch-like batteries made from materials such as lithium-ion. These also are rechargeable, and some camera packages offer a free recharger among their contents. Cheap priced battery chargers for digital camera batteries are also purchasable from most camera stores, both online and off.

The higher classed models available on the market often come with a variety of detachable lenses. These may add to the zoom capacity, or simple alter the photographic image. Some lenses allow for fisheye shots, others cater for distortions or microscopic imaging. These tend to appeal most to the camera buff seeking something new in their images, or the expert, professional photographer who needs to cover a wide range of options for their occupational use of the digital camera.

Some of the more expensive brands and styles of digital camera can still be purchased at a lower rate during sales and other opportunities to buy at the lowest price. Digital camera sales increase at sales time accordingly. However, this can also happen when a camera store sells off former stock to make way for new models, at which time many fantastic bargains are obtainable, allowing for purchasers to buy a better model with their money than they expected.

If you are simply searching for an everyday digital camera at a great price, many of the features will be irrelevant and you simply need to ensure that all necessary items are included to save further purchases later on. The essentials generally include batteries, a battery recharger, a camera case, and a memory card or USB attachment, the latter two enabling you to transfer your pictures from camera to computer or printed photograph. These complete camera packages can be located online or in sale for the lowest price. Digital camera use is now within everyone’s budget.

If you want to find the best source for the Lowest Price Digital Camera, then your search has ended. You will also find thousands and thousands of the lowest priced consumer electronics at Consumer Home Electronics
