  2. Space is faster then the speed of light but nothing in space can travel faster then light :)

  3. imagine our value if we are alone , and we make war here , what a wasted space and energy

  4. now, what would rly be sad is if we where alone….

  5. there is more to this dark energy and dark matter stuff than meets the eye. we have only begun scratching the surface. actually, we haven’t even scratched it yet cuz so far, it seems we are only scratching the air!

behind dark energy there has to be another force helping to bring about cosmic inflation, the expansion of our universe. something is ‘pushing’ the pressure of vacuum energy into what it is but there is no way to detect it.. not yet anyway

    a new constant….. ?

  6. “I would rather take my chances out there. For better or worse.you have a much better chance of survival out there among the stars than you do on earth.”
–Don’t you think we are much better adapted here? What would you eat and breathe out there? How would you keep from exploding in the vacuum?

  13. people get obsessed with stuff like Jersey Shore so they don’t have to get all freaked out over how small they are in the galaxy.

  14. “Big Bang” theory. is a joke ”
–I don’t get it. Is it the setup or the punchline?

    By SKULLBOY6 on Mar 9, 2010

  15. Big Bang” theory. is a joke

By dasgilde on Mar 9, 2010

  16. @SKULLBOY6

well, in fact its not infinite, we can see the borders of it. We call this infinite because a number like 10000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 m 56666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666 km wouldn’t make any sense. The universe is expanding.

  17. @timen1986:
    What?

    By SKULLBOY6 on Mar 9, 2010

  18. ” How can space expand when it is already infinitely large?”
–How do you explain the red shift?

    By SKULLBOY6 on Mar 9, 2010

  19. The spacetime between the galaxies are not infinite. This is what is expanding. We don’t know if the universe is infinite, but what we can see indicates space-time is expanding between the galaxies faster than the speed of light.

By beayn on Mar 9, 2010

  20. @beayn How can space expand when it is already infinitely large?

    By qiankundanuoyi1 on Mar 9, 2010

  21. @djwright44 A miraculous and divine creation isn’t true. Humans created that divine being. Big Bang isn’t real. There is no beginning to the Universe. It is infinitely large too.

    By qiankundanuoyi1 on Mar 9, 2010

  22. “There is no rationale explanation for this creation beyond a miraculous and divine creation:”
–So you agree that this is not a rational explanation?

“absurd say you logic only scientists?”
    –Waht other evidence is there?

“Perhaps…..but far more plausible than the “Big Bang” theory. ”
–You agree that it is absurd, yet you think it is plausible? You are saying that a miraculous and divine creation is plausible? In what way do you feel it has a deceptive appearence of truth?

    By SKULLBOY6 on Mar 9, 2010

  23. “There is no rationale explanation for this creation beyond a miraculous and divine creation: absurd say you logic only scientists? Perhaps…..but far more plausible than the “Big Bang” theory. ”
    –How so?

    By SKULLBOY6 on Mar 9, 2010

  24. There is no rationale explanation for this creation beyond a miraculous and divine creation: absurd say you logic only scientists? Perhaps…..but far more plausible than the “Big Bang” theory.

    By djwright44 on Mar 9, 2010

  25. Beayn: You are correct.

    By SKULLBOY6 on Mar 9, 2010

  26. This is misleading. The galaxies are not traveling faster than the speed of light but rather space is expanding faster than the speed of light, increasing the distance between the galaxies making them appear to be expanding.
